Cases Referred to PHC Community & Mental Health Clinic

• Anxiety spectrum disorders (e.g. GAD, panic, phobic, and OCD)
• Depressive disorders
• Non-organic sleep disorders
• Psychosomatic disorders
• Nocturnal enuresis (psychological origin)
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• Diagnostic uncertainty requiring consultation.

Cases referred to Mental Health Hospital (IRADAH)

• All pediatric psychiatry cases (<14 years old) except non-organic enuresis
• Cases not responding to standard management in PHC settings
• Bipolar disorders & acute mania
• Schizophrenia & other disorders with psychotic features.
• Suicidal & homicidal ideation or attempts
• Acute psychosis, agitation, aggression, or behavioral disturbance
• Substance abuse or cases with sexual abuse involvement
• Patients requiring long-term follow-up at the mental health hospital
• Peripartum and postpartum depression or anxiety disorders
